Hey there! I’m Cindye and I’m the Founder & Executive Director of The Kiota Center. I founded Kiota from a personal passion for early learning and understanding how trauma impacts development.  

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in culturally responsive education. I’m currently pursuing postgraduate studies in early learning and trauma to deepen my understanding and enhance my ability to effectively advocate for equitable, trauma-informed early learning opportunities that foster healing, ignite curiosity, and bring joy.
